Congratulations to the Class of 2026

Godalming College is celebrating another year of excellent A Level and BTEC Level 3 results, with students across the College achieving outcomes that reflect their hard work, resilience and determination. 

The College has maintained its high standards once again this year, with a 100% pass rate for BTEC subjects and a 98.9% pass rate for A Levels.  Our high grade rates at both A Level and BTEC have once again exceed national benchmarks by some margin.  83% of students have achieved A*-C at A Level and 93.7% of students achieved a Distinction* to Merit.   85% of students secured their first or insurance choice university place but also ever increasing numbers of our students are progressing onto apprenticeships and employment.

We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and of the commitment, character and personal growth they have shown throughout their time at College. Every student has their own journey, and today's results reflect the countless ways they have challenged themselves, embraced new opportunities and grown in confidence”. 

"While qualifications open doors to future opportunities, today is about much more than grades alone. It is important to recognise that success looks different for every student. For some, these results represent overcoming significant personal challenges alongside their studies.  As our students take their next steps, whether to university, an apprenticeship, employment or other exciting opportunities, it is important to remember that their values, strengths and experiences will be just as important as the grades they receive today." 

"Results day is also an opportunity to celebrate the people who have contributed to our students' success. Our dedicated teachers have inspired, challenged and guided students throughout their studies, helping them to achieve their potential. We are equally grateful to our wider support staff and Trustees, whose hard work behind the scenes plays an important role in creating an environment in which students can thrive. Finally, I would like to thank parents and carers for their unwavering support and encouragement. Today is an important day for you too."
